Problems with email after upgrading Norton Antivirus

Apparently NAV changed some of the settings on the last upgrade. Including
but not limited to The username and the mail servers. The reason they did
this was to run your email through a proxy server on your system. Normally
this wouldn't be a problem unless the proxie server doesn't activate during
the boot up process. which we believe is the situation on your system. To
resolve this you can disable the settings on NAV by doing the following
1. Start Norton AntiVirus and click Options.
2. Click Email Protection in the Options list.
3. Depending on your version:
NAV 2000 users, uncheck "Enable email protection (recommended)," and then
click OK.
NAV 2001 users, uncheck the boxes that correspond to the protected email
clients.
