The 78th Session of the Texas Legislature will open on January 14, 2003.

In the upcoming session, our lawmakers will:

• Decide which Texans have access to vital services
• Grapple with issues of life and death

Explore public policy issues in the context of Judeo-Christian tradition

Learn what proposals will be on the front burner at the Capitol

Find out how you can be involved in the legislative process

10-11 Opening Worship/Plenary

Keynote: Phil Strickland, Texas Baptist Christian Life Commission and Annette Van Zandt Willliams, United Methodist Church Board of Church and Society

11:15-12:30 Workshop

12:30-1:30 Lunch with "Talking Tables"

1:30-2:45 Workshop

3:00-3:30 Closing

3:30-4:30 Planning and follow-up for local/denominational groups (optional)

$25 Registration includes meal, materials, and childcare if needed.
